Brief job descriptions:  The Activities Coordinator organizes and implements activities and social/recreational events to enrich and support the intellectual, physical, creative and spiritual growth of our residents.

The main responsibilities and duties include: Assist in the development and implementation of activity programming for seven days a week services under the direction of the Activities Director.  Assist with group and individual activities encouraging participation. Distribute monthly activity calendar.  Assist in orienting new residents and fostering relationships with co-workers, families and the community. Attend in-services and training, meeting completion requirements timely.  Assistance with resident meal service. Occasional coverage of reception desk.  Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements Include: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work well as part of a team and also independently.  Must have high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.  Prior experience in elder care facility preferred.

 Unit Secretary

The main responsibilities include providing administrative and clerical support to the nursing team. This includes such things as coordinating inside and outside medical appointments for Residents and assist with arranging transportation; ordering OTC medications and supplies for residents; assist with updating vital sign books, and annual informed consents; and helping coordinate various other projects and administrative duties as needed.

Qualified candidates must have excellent organizational skills; must be caring, compassionate and service oriented. Must have strong computer skills. The right person for this role must be a strong communicator and have excellent customer service skills. Must have at least a high school diploma. Prior experience as an administrative assistant required; experience working in healthcare preferred.

Hours are Monday thru Friday, 8am - 4pm

Job Type: Full-time

Nurses, both RNs and LPNs for full time, part time and per diem. This position requires a motivated and energetic individual preferably with experience in working with seniors. The right candidate will have passion for human kindness and wellness for life.

Qualifications: All applicants must possess, at a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved RN/LPN/LVN program.  Must possess a current and active license to practice as an RN/LPN in the state of Massachusetts and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing. **New graduates waiting to take boards are eligible to apply under the state waiver***
