On Wednesday May 1st the Criminal Justice program had a chance to tour the Boston Police Headquarters. The students had a chance to tour the facility with Sgt. Detective Saxton and speak with members from different departments such as ballistics, fingerprinting, and analysis units. Students honored at annual Rotary breakfast

Several outstanding students were honored on May 1 at the Annual BHR Rotary breakfast. Brianna Lynch, Zalika Cairo, Michael Dacko, Alexander Gonzalez, Michael Jean-Baptiste, Jonathan Vazquez, Madison Farmer, Stenley Simon and Jayda Sylvestre were awarded either scholarships, career assistance awards, or Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. Congratulations to all of them.

Bank of Canton donates $5,000 to Blue Hills ESOL Program

Bank of Canton has made a $5,000 donation to the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program offered to adults by Blue Hills Regional Technical School. This donation is another milestone in the longstanding relationship between Bank of Canton and Blue Hills Regional. Over 300 juniors and seniors from Blue Hills Regional Technical School in Canton got a hands-on lesson in managing their money on Friday, April 12, when they participated in the Credit for Life Fair at the Randolph Intergenerational Center. “High school students need to understand how to manage their money and understand the impact of financial decisions they make,” said Blue Hills Guidance Counselor John Davis, who organized the event. . On Monday, April 8, the freshman Criminal Justice class visited the Randolph Municipal Police Academy. The students had a chance to role play scenarios involving juveniles to help prepare the cadets for their job as a police officers.
